About Axtria
Axtria is a global provider of cloud software and data analytics solutions to the Life Sciences industry. We help Life Sciences companies transform their product commercialization journeys to drive sustainable sales growth and improve healthcare outcomes for patients. We recognize that our work impacts millions of lives, and we are deeply committed to making that impact meaningful.
Founded in 2010, Axtria’s competitive advantage has been rooted in technology innovation. We continue to stay ahead of the market with platforms powered by Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning. Our cloud-based platforms—Axtria SalesIQ™, Axtria DataMax™, and Axtria MarketingIQ™—enable customers to efficiently manage data, apply advanced analytics, and drive insight-led sales and marketing planning while managing end-to-end commercial operations.
Axtria is growing its Commercial Excellence practice in Europe and is looking for a strong delivery-focused consultant to join as Associate Director or Senior Manager. This is a hands-on role at the heart of client engagements, working closely with senior leaders in the EU and alongside global delivery teams in the US and India. The title will reflect the candidate’s experience and depth of expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
Delivery and client consulting are the primary focus of this role. The Associate Director / Senior Manager will be embedded in client engagements, owning workstreams end-to-end and acting as the day-to-day point of contact for client teams.
Consulting & Delivery
- Execute and manage client engagements across Life Sciences commercial excellence, with deep hands-on involvement in:
- Incentive compensation design and administration
- Field force design and deployment
- Sales operations strategy and process improvement
- CRM implementation, configuration, and adoption (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce)
- Customer dynamic targeting and call planning
- Alignment design
- Ad-hoc analytics and field intelligence
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact on engagements, working directly with client business stakeholders with limited oversight from senior leadership.
- Translate complex client business problems into structured requirements, analytical frameworks, and actionable recommendations.
- Own delivery quality across assigned workstreams — ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and meet Axtria’s standards for client-ready work.
- Support the design, configuration, communication, and implementation of Axtria SalesIQ™ programs.
- Develop clear, compelling client presentations and deliverables that communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate daily with globally distributed teams across the EU, US, and India, coordinating effectively across time zones within Axtria’s follow-the-sun delivery model.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, maintaining delivery timelines and proactively flagging risks to senior leadership.
- Lead CRM-related project workstreams including requirements gathering, platform configuration support, data governance, and reporting framework design.
- Advise clients on sales operations best practices — including field force performance tracking, incentive reporting, and CRM adoption strategies.
- Support integration of CRM outputs with broader commercial analytics platforms and business intelligence tools.
- Help clients align CRM and sales operations capabilities with commercial excellence objectives such as targeting, segmentation, and field force productivity.
Client Relationship & Practice Support
- Build trusted working relationships with day-to-day client contacts and contribute to positive client satisfaction on every engagement.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and flag them to senior leaders — supporting (not leading) BD activity.
- Contribute to proposal development and RFP responses by providing delivery scoping, effort estimates, and relevant prior work.
- Support thought leadership by contributing to POVs, solution frameworks, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Team & Talent
- Guide and mentor junior team members on engagements, providing structured feedback and helping develop analytical and consulting skills.
- Contribute to team hiring by participating in interviews and providing candidate assessments.
- Actively participate in Axtria’s internal capability-building efforts including training, methodology development, and knowledge management.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in Life Sciences commercial analytics or consulting, with a background in consulting, analytics services, or technology services firms strongly preferred. Candidates with a blend of services and industry experience are welcome; pure pharma/industry-side backgrounds without client-facing delivery experience are not the target profile. Core experience should include:
- Incentive compensation design and/or administration
- Field force design and deployment
- Sales operations and CRM (e.g., Veeva CRM, Salesforce)
- Sales force effectiveness or commercial analytics
- Proven track record of owning and delivering client workstreams independently, with direct client interaction in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong analytical skills — ability to structure ambiguous problems, build robust analytical models, and translate outputs into actionable client recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms used in Life Sciences (Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, or Salesforce) and associated data and reporting ecosystems.
- Comfort with AI-driven analytics tools and digital commercial platforms; familiarity with Agentic AI or GenAI applications in a Life Sciences commercial context is a plus.
- Working knowledge of EU data regulations, including GDPR, and their implications for commercial data governance and CRM practices in Life Sciences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline such as Business Analytics, Information Management, Operations Management, or an MBA.
- Strong communication skills — able to present analytical findings clearly to both technical teams and senior client stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel in a fast-paced, global delivery environment.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to coordinate effectively across geographically distributed teams (EU, US, India).
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages (German, French, Italian) are a strong plus given the EU client base.
