Berkeley Heights, NJ

Decision Intelligence
Senior Executive

Company Overview:
Axtria is a global provider of data analytics, software, and consulting services for the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical industry. With 3,700+ employees and clients in over 30 countries, Axtria empowers life sciences organizations to drive commercial success and improve patient outcomes.
Since our founding in 2010, Axtria has differentiated itself through technology innovation. Our cloud-native platforms—Axtria DataMax™, InsightsMax™, SalesIQ™, MarketingIQ™, and CustomerIQ™—enable seamless integration of data science and AI across commercial operations, supporting functions from sales planning to omnichannel engagement.

About the Role
The Decision Intelligence (DI) Principal is the senior-most client leadership role within Axtria's Decision Intelligence practice. Principals are accountable for the full client relationship — from delivery excellence on current analytics engagements to the long-term transformation of those relationships from analytics services to AI-powered decision support. This is a dual-mandate role: run the business today while building the business of tomorrow.
In the near term, Principals will own and grow a portfolio of pharma commercial analytics accounts — ensuring delivery quality, deepening executive relationships, and expanding scope. Over time, Principals will lead the evolution of those accounts toward Decision Transformation Programs, shifting commercial models from T&M toward fixed-fee, outcome-linked, and managed services structures. The right candidate is both a credible delivery leader and a strategic client executive — someone who can hold a conversation about an analyst's output in the morning and sit with a VP Commercial in the afternoon to discuss how their organization makes brand investment decisions.

What You Will Own
Account Delivery and Growth Own delivery accountability across a portfolio of analytics COE and project-based engagements. Ensure quality of output — from ad hoc analyses and patient journey work to marketing mix and payer access engagements. Serve as the escalation point for delivery issues and the primary driver of account health. Grow revenue within existing accounts through scope expansion, new workstreams, and deepening of the analytics mandate.
Executive Relationship Development  Principals are expected to systematically build relationships with Executives Directors, VPs and ultimately C-Suite commercial leaders. The goal is to position Axtria as a consultative decision partner. Through these relationships,  Axtria’s position needs to be cemented as the firm clients call when they face a consequential commercial question, not just when they need analytical capacity.
Account Transformation Lead the deliberate evolution of assigned accounts from T&M analytics delivery toward decision-centric engagement models. This means introducing decision-first framing into existing COE work, identifying high-value decision problems that warrant structured Decision Transformation Programs, and piloting alternative commercial structures (fixed-fee workstreams, deliverable-based pricing, outcome-linked components) where client receptivity exists.
Offer Design and GTM Shape how Axtria's Decision Intelligence capabilities are positioned and sold within assigned accounts. Design proposals that lead with decisions and business outcomes rather than FTE configurations. Work with the AI & Data and Product groups at Axtria to bring full Axtria platform capabilities into client conversations where appropriate.
Practice Contribution Contribute to the development of the DI practice — refining playbooks based on account experience, mentoring AD and Director-level talent, supporting AI certification (L3 AI Decision Architect standard), and building reusable assets from engagement IP.

What You Bring
Experience 15+ years in pharma commercial analytics, management consulting, or a combination, with significant time in client-facing delivery leadership. Experience managing large, complex analytics relationships — not just project delivery. Demonstrated track record of growing accounts and elevating relationships over time. Prior accountability for revenue targets.
Domain Deep fluency in at least two of: brand commercial strategy, marketing mix and promotional effectiveness, HCP targeting and sales force deployment, patient journey analytics, forecasting and launch analytics, or payer/market access analysis. Ability to connect analytical work to the business decisions it should inform — and to make that connection visible to clients.
Delivery Leadership Comfortable owning delivery accountability across distributed onshore/offshore teams. Able to diagnose quality issues, hold delivery directors accountable, and intervene directly when needed. High standards for output — understands the difference between analysis that is technically correct and analysis that is decision-ready.
Relationship Elevation Demonstrated ability to move relationships up the org chart. Not just managing the analytics buyer, but building credibility with commercial leadership. Knows how to shift a conversation from "here are the results" to "here is what you should do and why."
AI and Technology Fluency Practical understanding of AI-augmented analytics, agentic workflows, and what separates a decision system from a dashboard or a model. Must be able to credibly lead client conversations about AI's role in their decision-making — without overpromising. Commitment to maintaining L3 AI Decision Architect certification within Axtria's framework.
Commercial Acumen Understanding of T&M and alternative commercial structures. Ability to identify opportunities to pilot non-FTE pricing within existing accounts and to build the internal and client case for doing so.

Why This Role
Axtria's Decision Intelligence practice is in active transformation — from analytics staffing toward AI-powered decision support with outcome accountability.
Principals are the people leading that transformation account by account, relationship by relationship.
The role requires someone who can hold the current business together while steadily pulling it toward something more valuable — for clients and for Axtria. It is not a role for someone who only wants to sell, or only wants to deliver. It is for someone who can do both, and who finds the in-between — the moment when a client starts to see Axtria differently — genuinely satisfying.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 05/31/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
