Role Overview

The Service Delivery Manager is a client-facing role responsible for owning end-to-end delivery of BI and analytics solutions for pharmaceutical clients. This role requires strong stakeholder management, deep pharma domain knowledge, and hands-on expertise in data, analytics, and visualization. The individual will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality delivery, clear communication, and sustained client satisfaction.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks
  • Pharmaceutical domain experience with strong understanding of IQVIA datasets (Plantrak, FIA, DDD, etc.) and MMIT
  • Proven ability in client communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client-facing contact, managing client relationships, expectations, and overall service delivery.
  • Partner with client business and analytics stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable data and reporting solutions.
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing enhancements for BI and analytics initiatives.
  • Present insights, dashboards, and recommendations to senior client stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Independently manage delivery plans, priorities, risks, and timelines, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution.
  • Identify gaps in existing data or technical implementations and recommend data governance and scalable analytics solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead requirements workshops, SIT, business UAT, and feedback sessions with client business and IT teams.
  • Work closely with offshore and cross-functional teams to translate client requirements into clear tasks, delivery milestones, and timelines.
  • Define and maintain data definitions, business logic, calculations, and data quality rules.
  • Oversee and lead data validation and quality assurance efforts before client delivery.
  • Write and review Python and SQL scripts independently to support analysis and solution development.
  • Perform in-depth analysis on pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA (Plantrak, FIA, DDD, etc.) and MMIT.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in delivery processes, client satisfaction, and solution scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Management, Operations Management, MBA, or PhD.

 

Pay Transparency Laws 
Salary range or hourly pay range for the position 
 
The salary range for this position is $98,250 to $136,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. 
 
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
