Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Forecasting Consultant to join our Decision Science practice, specializing in Oncology and Epidemiology-based patient forecasting to support strategic decision-making for Biopharma clients.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in Oncology / Epidemiology-based forecasting and commercial analytics to address complex business challenges in the biopharma industry.
  • Hands-on experience developing inline and pipeline forecasts, BD&L evaluations, and launch planning models, integrating real-world data and scenario analyses to inform commercial strategy.
  • Proven expertise in patient-level forecasting methodologies, including patient journey modeling, disease progression, and market event impact simulations (e.g., new launches).
  • Independently build patient models based on prevalence or incidence, utilizing data from public sources, literature reviews, primary market research, and secondary datasets.
  • Conducted in-depth secondary research analysis and managed forecasting models and associated operations.
  • Proficient in Excel and VBA, with programming experience in at least one language to handle and synthesize large datasets effectively.
  • Familiarity with key industry datasets, including IQVIA (Xponent, NPA, NSP, 867) and claims data, is essential.
  • Lead the development of client deliverables, including presentations, insights, and strategic recommendations.
