Role Overview 
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused professional with a strong foundation in Real-World Evidence (RWE) and experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Evidence Synthesis (ES).  
Axtria’s RWE/HEOR/Evidence Synthesis (ES) practice is growing rapidly, fueled by a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation (AI-Powered RWE, HEOR & Evidence Synthesis Solutions).

Technically, this role supports the execution of real-world evidence (RWE) studies with scientific rigor and strategic insight. Reporting to the RWE/HEOR/ES practice lead, the visionary leader will contribute to strategic and tactful growth of the practice, further strengthening a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities 
  • Lead and support the design and execution of RWE studies, including retrospective database analyses and observational research. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align RWE/HEOR strategies with therapeutic area priorities and business objectives. 
  • Draft and review technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations for internal and external audiences. 
  • Generate external communications in the form of abstracts, posters, podium presentations, and manuscripts. 
  • Mentor and guide junior staff to support their career advancement and ensure they meet client requirements. 
  • Support strategic planning and stakeholder engagement across global teams. 
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards in coordination with cross-functional teams. 
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory guidance, and methodological advancements in RWE and HEOR. 
Required Skills & Experience 
  • More than 10 years of experience in RWE and HEOR within a healthcare consulting firm or life sciences company. 
  • Proven ability to design and execute database studies using claims, EMR, or registry data. 
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data sources and analytical methodologies. 
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and tools (Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Familiarity with causal inference analysis, AI/ML applications in healthcare analytics (preferred). 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights. 
  • Demonstrated project management and stakeholder/KOL engagement capabilities. 
Educational Background 
  • Master’s degree in epidemiology, health economics, biostatistics, or outcomes research.  
  • Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, ScD) in relevant field is a plus.

Pay Transparency Laws 
Salary range or hourly pay range for the position 
 
The salary range for this position is $157,600 to $205,425 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. 
 
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
