The Role
The Director, Product Management, is responsible for driving and delivering a world-class product strategy for Axtria’s DataMax platform—Axtria’s cloud-based data and information foundation for intelligent enterprise decision-making. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen, technical depth, and leadership, with the ability to translate vision into execution. You will partner closely with Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define product strategy, execute roadmaps, and ensure commercial success. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct people management responsibility.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Leadership
- Define, lead, and communicate product strategy aligned with Axtria’s business goals.
- Own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and execution for DataMax.
- Rapidly move from strategy to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact initiatives.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive the next generation of data products.
Market, Customer & Growth
- Identify, validate, and document customer and market requirements.
- Drive product growth and expansion by incorporating customer and market feedback.
- Evaluate market share and conduct competitive analysis across the product suite.
- Prioritize requirements, maintain the product backlog, and deliver capabilities that drive adoption and revenue growth.
Go-To-Market & Evangelism
- Partner with Product Marketing to define and execute go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging.
- Serve as an internal and external evangelist for Axtria’s Data & AI platforms.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and key customers to support commercial success.
Execution & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers while remaining a hands-on contributor.
- Work closely with Engineers and UX Designers in an agile environment.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies with global teams across the US and India.
- Influence stakeholders and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with 10+ years in software, SaaS, or technology-driven businesses.
- 8+ years in B2B enterprise SaaS product management, preferably in data, analytics, or AI platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or technical degree preferred). MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum teams as a Product Owner or Product Leader.
- Strong market analysis and customer discovery skills with data-driven decision making.
- Experience building and scaling large-scale, cloud-based data platforms.
- Background in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or commercial operations needed.
- Proven ability to “sell” product vision internally and externally and work globally, ensuring success in delivery, production, and scalability.

The salary range for this position is $157,600 to $205,425 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
