Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Decision Science to lead high-impact analytics initiatives across multiple brands in therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Rheumatology, Immunology, and Cardiovascular. This role combines strategic problem-solving, omnichannel marketing analytics, and AI/ML expertise to drive data-informed decisions for commercial teams. The ideal candidate will bring experience working in onshore–offshore team models, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to lead client engagements end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex omnichannel marketing and promotional analytics projects, including segmentation, targeting, and marketing mix modeling.
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models to optimize channel mix, campaign personalization, and field force targeting strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of analytics workstreams in collaboration with offshore analyst teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches, partnering with stakeholders across brand marketing, digital, field force, and commercial operations.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior clients; lead discussions, facilitate brainstorming sessions, and communicate insights with clarity and impact.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of analysts, setting priorities, reviewing outputs, and supporting professional development.
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards and decision-support tools for business users to easily access insights.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on in-depth analysis of large datasets, including patient claims, digital engagement, sales, and CRM data.
  • Ensure quality control, documentation, and scalability of all analytic solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in commercial analytics in the life sciences industry, with a strong focus on omnichannel marketing and promotional effectiveness.
  • Proven experience working in a global delivery model (onshore-offshore), with the ability to coordinate seamlessly across time zones and manage distributed teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and dashboarding tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Expertise in handling pharma datasets such as IQVIA (LAAD, DDD, Xponent), SHS claims, APLD, SPP, EHR, and digital data from 3P vendors 
  • Demonstrated success in leading AI/ML-driven orchestration engines, marketing mix models, or response modeling initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Economics); M.Tech or MBA preferred.


Preferred Attributes

  • Experience leading analytics for multiple therapeutic areas or franchises simultaneously.
  • Ability to bridge technical solutions with business strategy.
  • Comfortable leading brainstorming workshops, storyboarding sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
  • Track record of coaching junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment.

The salary range for this position is $
98,250 to $155,625 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Thousand Oaks, CA. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
