Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forecasting professional to join and lead our dynamic team, specializing in Patient and demand Forecasting for inline and pipeline drugs within the Biopharma domain. This senior-level position requires strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and expertise in communicating sophisticated forecasting models, and delivering high-quality consultative solutions to our pharmaceutical clients. In addition to leading forecasting initiatives, this role will be responsible for growing our Forecasting practice across existing and new clients, building capability development, and driving Axtria's continued success and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and collaborating closely to define forecasting requirements and provide recommendations to shape brand strategies, marketing plans, and sales initiatives.
  • Design commercial development strategies, and partner with stakeholders on creation and execution of launch readiness plans for specific therapeutic products.
  • Lead development of forecasts, guide key forecast assumptions, and develop presentations to support early stage and late-stage assets.
  • Continuously refine and enhance forecasting methodologies, incorporating best practices and emerging trends to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Effectively communicate/translate results of forecast, assumptions and rationale for decisions to senior leadership teams.
  • Partner with senior management to strategic roadmap for the Forecasting and Decision Science practices, driving growth and profitability.
  • Oversee departmental growth initiatives, including talent acquisition, resource allocation, and business development efforts to expand Axtria's footprint in the Life Sciences industry.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, 7+ years in management consulting, 5+ years in forecasting. 
  • Proven track record of strategic and delivery leadership, business development, team management and organizational growth.
  • Deep understanding Symphony patient claims data and IQVIA NPA data.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, Python) preferred.
  • Analytical individual with sound business acumen who can indirectly influence decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical audiences.

The exact nature of duties, level of role as well as the salary and compensation package will be commensurate with experience and salary history.
