As a Director, you will lead high-impact client engagements within the healthcare and life sciences industries, focusing on strategic initiatives that drive growth and operational excellence. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver innovative, actionable solutions that address complex business challenges. This role offers you the opportunity to provide thought leadership, mentor high-performing teams, and manage key projects that deliver measurable results in a dynamic and evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Client Engagements: Oversee end-to-end project delivery for top pharmaceutical clients, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives. Lead high-profile engagements by deeply understanding clients' business challenges, therapeutic areas, and markets to design customized, effective solutions.
  • Develop Tailored Analytics Solutions: Customize and deploy Axtria's proprietary analytics tools, addressing client-specific challenges such as sales force sizing, market segmentation, and promotional optimization. Leverage industry trends and internal expertise to design innovative solutions that create a competitive advantage for clients.
  • Strategic Guidance and Opportunity Identification: Provide strategic advice to clients, identifying value-creation opportunities and guiding the development of actionable, high-impact strategies to solve complex business problems and drive measurable results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Technology, Product Management, and offshore resources, to refine analytics tools, improve solutions, and develop new capabilities based on emerging industry trends. Ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and quality standards across all teams.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use real-world data, such as patient claims and diagnostic data, to inform patient analytics, ROI analysis, and go-to-market strategy development. Conduct market and competitive analysis to generate insights that improve client decision-making and performance.
  • Project Management and Delivery: Manage the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning to execution and delivery, ensuring high-quality standards and timely results. Handle multiple concurrent projects, consistently exceeding client expectations and maintaining rigorous quality control.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Consensus Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client executives, acting as a trusted advisor. Present compelling recommendations and insights, fostering consensus among senior leadership and driving strategic decisions.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of analytics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Ensure professional development and skill-building while maintaining high standards of delivery.
  • Innovation and Solution Development: Contribute to the innovation of Axtria's solutions, developing new analytical models, methodologies, and tools that enhance client decision-making and generate significant business impact.
  • Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and driving client acquisition. Proactively identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the client portfolio.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of all deliverables, ensuring they meet both client expectations and industry standards. Rigorously test solutions to ensure they solve complex business problems and deliver the desired outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Commercial/Advanced Analytics within the Life Sciences industry. 
  • 5+ years in Consulting servicing Pharma/Life Science clients.
  • Proficiency in analytic tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, SAS, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Machine Learning Algorithms, Deep Learning, NLP, and Data Visualization, with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in framing business issues, designing effective solutions, and delivering measurable results.
  • Experience leading projects and teams, with exposure to statistical estimation and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with large datasets and data manipulation techniques.

  • Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ

The exact nature of duties, level of role as well as the salary and compensation package will be commensurate with experience and salary history.
